Doelstellingen
The objective is to increase uptake and use of the eID DSI by supporting Member States in meeting the requirements of the new eIDAS regulation with a view to facilitating the access of citizens and businesses to public and private services across borders throughoutthe European Union. Grants are to be offered to consortia consisting of at least 5 entities from a single Member State to integrate the eID DSI in an existing e-service/system/online platform to enable citizens from any Member State to use her or his national eID to access public services in the Member State of the consortium. Only actions which can be identified as "projects of common interest" as defined in the Telecom Guidelines may receive EU financial assistance.
Budget
The indicative amount to be allocated on the basis of this call for proposals to projects of common interest in the field of trans-European telecommunications for eID is €7 million. The maximum co-financing rates of EU financial assistance to be granted under this call for proposals will not exceed 75% of eligible costs of the action.
Begunstigden
Only those proposals submitted by one of the following types of applicants are eligible:
- One or more Member States
- With the agreement of the Member States or EEA countries concerned, international organisations, joint undertakings, or public or private undertakings or bodies established in Member States
