EU Green Week: Flanders’ best practices in biodiversity
On 20 October at 2 p.m., VLEVA organizes a webinar on biodiversity within the framework of the EU Green Week.
In May, the European Commission launched its long-awaited 2030 biodiversity strategy. This strategy, which is part of the EU Green Deal, aims, on the one hand, to put an end to the loss of biodiversity and, on the other hand, to transform our food systems into the global standard for competitive sustainability, in which the protection of man and planet is a priority. This year's EU Green Week is all about biodiversity.
Ms Anne Teller (DG Environment) will explain the European Commission's plans for biodiversity as an expert on the subject. Afterwards, some VLEVA members propose a progressive project that is in line with the European objective to reduce biodiversity loss.
