Hoger onderwijs

Het hoger onderwijs speelt een essentiële rol in de persoonlijke en maatschappelijke ontwikkeling. Niet minder belangrijk is dat het hoger onderwijs Europa de hooggekwalificeerde mensen en mondige burgers levert die nodig zijn om banen te scheppen en te zorgen voor economische groei en welvaart. De Europese Unie heeft als doel dat tegen 2020 40% van de jongeren in Europa een hogere opleiding heeft genoten.
