13 May 2019 12:30 – 16:30
VLEVA: Kortenberglaan 71, 1000 Brussel.

On Monday the 13th of May, VLEVA is organizing an event in light of the European Green Week.

The European Green Week is an initiative of the European Commission. During that week, environmental policy is at the center of numerous events.

Flanders takes the initiative: towards a better environment

What to expect?

Environmental laws have a huge impact on our lives. EU legislation improves water and air quality, nature protection, recycling and waste management.

Therefore this year the European Green Week focuses on the implementation of environmental legislation. The European Commission recently published a report on the state of affairs (The Environmental Implementation Review - EIR).

Louis Meuleman, Coordinator Environmental Implementation Review (EIR) & European Semester at DG Environment from the European Commission, opens this event. He will explain the 7th Environment Action Programme (EAP) and the Environmental Implementation Review 2019
