OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS VP/2009/007: Innovative Projects for Worker Mobility in the EU

The purpose of the present call for proposals is the co-funding of a limited number of projects to facilitate worker mobility in the EU. It is both to develop and test innovative solutions, and to exchange and disseminate results on innovative schemes. It is part of the European Job Mobility Action Plan 2007-2010 COM/2007/773 and contributes to flexicurity principles.
All proposals need to demonstrate a clear European added value, their contribution to the implementation of the European employment strategy and corresponding national policies and their potential for uptake of results by employment services at national or regional, local levels or by the EURES network.
If the proposal is submitted by more than one organisation, interested partners and stakeholders are requested to submit their proposal through a single applicant, who will be responsible for the overall management of the project. In this case, the effective contribution of each individual partner, including the amount of its financial contribution, must be clearly described in the proposal.
The budget available for the present call is € 800.000. The Commission will co-finance projects up to a maximum of 80% of the total eligible costs.
The deadline for the submission of applications is 09/06/2009.
