Youth support systems: Projects encouraging creativity and innovation
in the youth sector
Call for Proposals EACEA/12/09
Introduction
The project's leader is Cremona Municipality and, more specifically its Informagiovani
Agency. The Agency coordinates and runs 10 centres connected in a net and distributed
on the entire territory of Cremona Province.
Its goal is providing information, knowledge and skills about training, free time and
opportunities of international mobility.
Informagiovani Agency is supported by the Europe Office which was founded in 2006 and
supports the other municipality's departments in its international relations and projects.
More specifically, the project aims at providing skills and competences to develop
information and communication solutions using the mobile phone and exploiting all the
potentialities of this tool.
Our technological partner is CESVIN (development and innovation centre). In Cesvin work
young researchers coming from different cultural and geographical areas. It works on
dissemination and innovation. Cesvin is a technological transfer centre founded for the
realization of joint projects (enterprises-universities): it conveys to the enterprises
(production and services) the skills of the universities in order to create innovation in the
production and management processes.
Project's goals
- Developing technical skills in young people participating to the project in the
framework of the development of Mobile solutions (a sector which is
developing very quickly and which will offer job places and perspectives in the
future)
- Realizing a tool, based on an iPhone platform which then can be used by
European young people to have information about the countries they want ot
visit and exchange information with young people coming form different
countries and cultures.
Direct Target
In each participating nation:
A group of 8 young people from 18 to 28 years old and one youth worker who will
participate to a training course/workshop to learn and implement the
development principles of applications for iPhone and iPod Touch
Wider Target
Contact groups of young people and youth workers to collect and implement knowledge
and disseminate the technology and the results obtained
