Call for proposal European Energy Programme for Recovery (deadline: 15/7/09)

Call for proposals to aid economic recovery by granting Community financial assistance to projects in the field of energy. Op 3 juni 2009 wordt in Brussel een infodag georganiseerd. Meer informatie volgt.

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Energy and Transport, is hereby launching a call for proposals in order to award grant(s) to projects in the field of energy, in the context of the European Energy Programme for Recovery (EEPR Regulation).

The financial envelope for the implementation of the EEPR for 2009 and 2010 is EUR 3,980 million, allocated as follow:
(a) gas and electricity infrastructure projects: EUR 2,365 million;
(b) offshore wind energy projects: EUR 565 million;
(c) projects for carbon capture and storage: EUR 1,050 million.

The closing date for submission of proposals is 15 July 2009.
