The CKIR conference of August 25th-27th 2010 brings thoughtful practitioners and leadings scholars into a discussion on the  Entrepreneurial Action in the  innovation networks, companies, public sector, public-private partnerships and academia. The conference provides an opportunity to elaborate the benefits of open, demand and user-driven innovation paradigm for the value creation in the arenas and forums of human life.

ICT 2010: Europe's most visible forum for ICT research and innovation. 

This biennial event has become a unique gathering point for researchers, business people, investors, and high level policy makers in the field of digital innovation. ICT 2010 will focus on policy priorities such as Europe's Digital Agenda and the next financial programme of the European Union for funding research and innovation in ICT.

Europe 2020: Competitiveness, co-operation and cohesion for all regions

Since 2003, the OPEN DAYS - European Week of Regions and Cities, has become an annual key event at which cities and regions to showcase their capacity for creating growth and jobs, implementing European Union cohesion policy, and proof the importance of the local level for good European governance.

The 3rd Europe INNOVA Conference is being organised by the Region of Wallonia in the framework of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union, in close collaboration with the European Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry.

In the context of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the conference will address policy priorities for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and reflect on how innovation can support the transition towards a resource efficient and competitive economy.

In recent years European research has provided radical breakthroughs in our understanding of climate change, developed exciting new technologies and medicines in healthcare and been an exemplar of cutting edge engineering and technology. To maintain and improve these high standards to the continuous benefit of Europe's economy, environment and society, we must bridge the gaps between industry and scientific research.
