As of 1st September 2010 teachers in Flemish secondary education will have to focus more on aspects of the socio-economic society: role of the authorities, social actors, consumer education, sustainability, budget management, ... Already now different tools for budget management exist or are being developed. Several authors will present in this workshops their tools, in the presence of representatives from the educational system and, European Commission, and Febelfin (Belgian Banking Federation). The workshop will be chaired by Bertel De Groote, president of the Flemish Platform on over indebtedness and professor at the university of Ghent.
