Wat?
YEAR is the ideal platform to bring young creative minds from all over Europe to discuss various facets associated with this much used term "sustainable development”
The goal of the workshop is to give young researchers (<10 years experience) a sense of:
1. what sustainable development is all about;
2. how sustainability has changed the focus of research in research and technology organizations;
3. and how our research can help attain a sustainable industry and society
A series of answer to these questions is provided by some key lectures, followed by a case study and a a great deal of networking possibilities.
New in this YEAR-workshop is that you could tell us about your own sustainable research. Send us an abstract of maximum 2 A4 pages about the research you are doing and in which
way it contributes to a sustainable society. A jury of senior researchers will select 6 speakers. All the others who send in an abstract and are not selected for a lecture have the opportunity to bring a poster
that can be discussed during our Poster and Pint session.
In addition to this workshop you may like to attend i-SUP 2010, a large conference on Innovation for sustainable Production 2010, offering 6 full quality conferences at the same location and time.
For this conference you need to register separately. Further information on www.i-sup2010.org
