Salerno (Italië) is gastheer Covenant of Mayors Thematic Workshop, 30/4/10
The Covenant of Mayors Office (COMO) is organising a Thematic Workshop in Salerno, Italy, on 30 April 2010 as part of the Energie-Cités Annual Rendez-Vous. The Thematic Workshop, which will be held in the Grand Hotel Salerno, will be an opportunity for all signatories and Supporting Structures of the Covenant of Mayors to come together and share their experiences. Registration for the event, which will take place from 09:00 - 16:30 hr, is free for all Covenant signatories.
The programme for the Thematic Workshop features a rich blend of informative presentations and useful networking opportunities. During a session entitled ‘Achieving the Covenant Commitments thanks to clear vision' participants at the event will hear presentations from representatives from Barcelona, Helsinki, Milton Keynes and Heidelberg. These presentations will provide an insight into the visions each of these cities have for the Covenant of Mayors, and the actions that are currently underway in their localities.
A separate session will be devoted to the important issue of ‘The Covenant of Mayors as a new mode of governance in the EU multi-level system'. Following this, there will be a chance for Covenant signatories and potential signatories to interact and exchange ideas during a networking session.
This thematic workshop will be held within the framework of the Energie-Cités Annual Rendez-Vous, which is co-organised by the Commune di Salerno and Salerno Energi.
