In November 2010 the ESFRI (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures) Forum will publish an update of its European Roadmap in the field of energy research infrastructures.
The conference aims to contribute to the implementation of this Roadmap. It aims also to stimulate the development of a comprehensive strategy for the research infrastructures with all concerned actors (research, industry, public authorities), within the framework drawn up by the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan).
The impact of research infrastructures on the implementation of energy policies and sustainable development will be analysed as well as issues related to human capital, public-private partnership and funding aspects.
