Cities and Active Inclusion: Challenges and responses at a local level, 8 juli 2010 (Brussel)
Eurocities heeft recent 5 lokale observatieposten opgericht rond actieve Inclusie (Local Authority Observatories on Active Inclusion) die uitwisseling van kennis wil stimuleren en links zoekt tussen lokale, nationale en Europese beleidsinitiatieven rond actieve inclusie. Eurocities organiseert, samen met Bologna, Prague, Rotterdam, Southampton and Stockholm, op 8 juli een conferentie om de eerste ondezoeksresultaten voor te stellen. De aandacht gaat specifiek naar de manier waarop steden huisvestings- en werkgelegenheidsdiensten organiseert om bij te dragen tot de sociale inclusie van mensen die ver van de arbeidsmarkt staan.
The programme will feature:
- Launch of the EUROCITIES-NLAO European Report
- Panel debate with representatives from the European Commission, national/regional governments, Local Authority Observatories and European stakeholder organisations
- Workshops showcasing local practices in service delivery
- Outlook on the activities of EUROCITIES-NLAO for the second half of 2010
